This past winter, Acopia held a company-wide coat drive to gather coats to donate to those in need in our communities. Our Hendersonville branches partnered with Sumner Association of Realtors to collect more than 480 new and gently used coats for area schools, shelters, and other charitable organizations. They also added their own per-coat monetary match, totaling up to an additional $1000.00 bonus for the Sumner County Schools Resource Center.
For several years, Acopia employees have pitched in to give back to our community through Acopia's annual Habitat for Humanity of Sumner County build. We volunteer our time and talent on build days by helping to frame, wrap, paint, or clean newly built homes for deserving families in Gallatin, Tennessee. Our favorite day is clean-up day, as we get to meet the families and see their excitement when they see their new home!
For many years, our Hendersonville, Tennessee branch has sponsored the annual Sumner Association of Realtors Golf Classic, which benefits the local Habitat for Humanity of Sumner County. Volunteering our time and sponsorship, we enjoy giving back to our local partners and Habitat chapter within the community.
In honor of No-Shave November, Acopia employees helped to grow awareness and evoke conversation about cancer by forgoing the razor and growing their beards, embracing the hair, which many cancer patients lose, and letting it grow wild and free. Our employee who-can-grow-the-longest-beard contest was a fun way to raise awareness, as well as money, for the American Cancer Association.
For many years, the Hendersonville branch has been a supporter and sponsor for the Sumner Association of Realtors. After many years of support and participation, Hendersonville Branch Manager, Rhonda Holt was named 2023 Partner of the Year!
