ACOPIA
is… A Company Of People In Action

At Acopia Home Loans, our job is to help families across the country with their mortgage financing needs, but our purpose is bigger than that. We have a sincere interest in being a part of the communities we serve. From youth sports to various other non-profit organizations, Acopia team members are getting involved in hopes to make a difference. Creating meaningful relationships through our time, energy and resources will continue to be a mission worth pursuing.

Company-wide Coat Drive

Bringing Warmth to our communities

This past winter, Acopia held a company-wide coat drive to gather coats to donate to those in need in our communities. Our branches partnered with local Realtors, builders, and other community partners to collect well over a thousand new and gently used coats for area schools, shelters, and other charitable organizations. Our Hendersonville TN branch added their own per-coat monetary match, totaling up to an additional $1,000.00 bonus for the Sumner County Schools Resource Center.

Kentucky Tornado Relief

Helping our neighbors to the north

On December 10, 2021 a violent, nighttime tornado rumbled across Western Kentucky, producing severe to catastrophic damage in numerous towns, including Bowling Green, Mayfield, Princeton, Dawson Springs and Bremen. Following the devastation of the tornado, Acopia employees, leadership, and partners donated to the local Kentucky chapter of The Salvation Army to help our neighbors during their time of need in support of their re-building efforts. #KentuckyStrong

Countdown to Christmas

Charity Steps to Support The Salvation Army

Our Acopia team banded together with our fitness app to get moving for charity, while creating some holiday fun. Team captains led the charge with festive reindeer-named teams and friendly competitive banter. Counting our steps toward a donation to The Salvation Army during the holiday season, we walked our way to better health while doing a little good for others, too. Team Comet won and fun was had by all. Our collective donation helped to provide meals, nights of safe shelter and financial assistance during the holidays to those in need.

Wounded Warrior Project

Stepping up for Veterans

Acopia's new wellness app got us all ``stepping`` for our health and good causes this fall. With our first ``Step-it-Up`` race under our belts, we challenged ourselves to a late October 'Halloween Bash' team charity race. The goal... to raise money by Veteran's Day to support our veterans though the Wounded Warrior Project. Many team members met this challenge with enthusiasm and heart, but Team 'On the Go' smoked us all with almost 2000 miles! Go #TeamAcopia!
