Acopia Home Loans is a local mortgage company with a heart to help others. President Joey Davidson asked each branch to create a local coat drive and select an organization to partner with to benefit their community. The Acopia Hendersonville branch selected the Sumner County School Family Resource Center. The Center provides clothing, toiletries, groceries and much more to students and families in need. “This year the need is greater than ever”, said Cathy Graff, the Director of the Center. She added, “We have had over 350 requests for assistance so far this year and will well surpass the families we helped last year… The supply of coats is low, and the demand is high…We are grateful to anyone who can help by donating slightly used or new coats the kids would feel proud to wear.”
Acopia’s Hendersonville Branch has decided to increase our commitment by monetarily donating an additional $10 for every coat received, up to $1,000. We feel strongly about supporting the students and families in Sumner County and are excited to serve.
Sumner Realtors has also partnered with us to receive coats and encourage their members and affiliates to participate. Bring your coats to Acopia’s Hendersonville Branch office or Sumner Realtors in Hendersonville by Friday, December 9th. Let us know if you are collecting coats at your office and need someone to pick them up. Let’s join together to help these kids!
